  • "Race Weekend for the Entire Family" - Sign your child up for this race and Mom's and Daughter's sign yourself up for the All Women's Race the next day (DiamondGirl Delaware).
  • Please note:  This event is opned to kids aged 7 to 14 in which their ages are 7 to 14 as of 12/31/09.  This is in accordance of the USAT age up rule.  If you turn 15 on or before 12/31/09, you cannot participate in the race.
  • Opened to kids only aged 7 to 14
  • Fun run follows triathlon for all kids and adults of all ages 2 to 99

Saturday, June 6, 2009

  • 6:00am - 7:00am - BIKE AND HELMET optional inspections.
  • 6:00am - 6:45am - Race Day Registrations.  Cut off time is 6:45am prompt.
  • 6:00am - 7:00am - Transition area opened.  Located at area #1 on grass.  Packet pickup.  Body marking.
  • 7:00am - Mandatory pre-race meeting.
  • 7:05am - National Anthem.
  • 7:15am - Swim - 1st Wave.  13-14 year olds.  Red Caps. 
  • 7:18am - Swim - 2nd Wave.  11-12 year olds.  White Caps.
  • 7:21am - Swim - 3rd Wave.  9-10 year olds.  Blue Caps.   
  • 7:24am - Swim - 4th Wave.  7-8 year olds.  Yellow Caps.  
  • Fun run follows triathlon for all kids and adults of all ages 2 to 99
  • 7:45am - Official results posted.
  • 8:00am - Post race party/awards.  Awards will not be mailed.
  • 8:00am - Transition area closed.

Race director/management may alter any part or distance of the event as dictated by event day conditions, such as weather.

Refund Policy
absolutely NO refunds will be made for any reason.  REFERRED TO AS “ENTRY FEES” ABOVE AND INCLUDES ENTRY FEES, PARTICIPANT SHIRTS, UPGRADED PRODUCTS, ANY OTHER AMENITIES, INSURANCE, AND ONLINE ADMINISTRATIVE FEES.  MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE ANY ITEMS as leftovers are distributed on day of race.  WE DO NOT SHIP.  ENTRY FEES CANNOT BE  TRANSFERRED TO OTHER PERSONS OR APPLIED TOWARD future PIRANHA SPORTS EVENTS.  Selling your race entry slot is strictly prohibited by piranha sports. If you do sell your race slot, you will be disqualified from the race and you, as well as the entrant who purchased your slot, will be unable to race in another Piranha Sports event for a minimum of 2 years. Piranha Sports reserves the right to reject any entry if a valid photo ID is not presented at race packet pick-up.  There is NO rain date for the event.  In cases of inclement weather, natural disaster, acts of God, acts of war or other unforeseen extraordinary circumstances, management reserves the right to cancel the event and/or modify the race course for safety concerns. Under such circumstances, there will be absolutely no refunds or transfer of entries to future Piranha Sports events. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as participate shirts, upgrade products, insurance, and online administrative fees.  All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all.  Management reserves the right to reject or accept a race entry for any reason.  By signing up for this race, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms listed on this page.
