Dri-Release Shirt - Dri-release is a unique fabric that feels like cotton and keeps wears comofrtable, dry and odor-free.  We print race logo on the front of these shirts only and handed out at race packet pickup.  Cost:  $25.00

Run Race Belts - Allows you to attach your run bib #s and a quick get away in transition area by affixing number and belt via belt clip.  Will be handed out at race packet pickup.  Cost:  $10.00.

Course

Sprint Swim - 650 meters (1 lap) - in water start.  In the beautiful freshwater Evergreen Lake.
Half Iron Lite Swim - 1300 meters (2 laps) - in water start.

  • Expected water temperature around 68-70.  Westsuits allowed per USA Triathlon Rules.

Sprint Bike - 13.5 miles - gently rolling hills with a few technical turns.  Open course (not closed to vehicular traffic).

  • Exit Transition area and turn right onto Benders Drive.
  • Right onto E. Scenic Drive.
  • Left onto Smith Gap Road.
  • Left onto Point Phillips Road @ Points ... Hotel
  • Right onto Mountain View Dr. (946 West)
  • Right onto Mink Road by the Church (you will ride immediately in front of this church between church and cemetary).
  • Right onto W. Scenic Dr.
  • Left onto Moser Road
  • Right onto Delps Road.
  • Left onto Mountain Road.
  • Head back to Benders Junction (Benders Drive).
  • Head into Transition area.

Half Lite Bike - 38 miles - gently rolling hills with a few technical turns.  Open course (not closed to vehicular traffic).

  • Exit Transition area and turn right onto Benders Drive.
  • Right onto E. Scenic Drive.

  • Left onto Point Phillips Road @ Points ... Hotel

Sprint Run - 3 miles - flat out and back course.  Semi-shaded course and all roads. 

  • Stay to the left of each other.
  • Right out of transition area onto Benders Drive.
  • At end, u-turn and head back to transition area/finish line.

Half Lite Run - 7 miles - slightly rolling out and back course.  Semi-shaded course and all roads. 

  • Stay to the left of each other.
  • Right out of transition area onto Benders Drive.
  • Left onto E. Scenic Drive
  • Left onto West End Road
  • Right onto Bushkill Drive for about 3/4 mile, u-turn and head back to transition area/finish line. 
  • Left onto Old Grade Road for approximately another mile and near end, u-turn and head back to transition area/finish line.

Directions

From Pennsylvania Turnpike:

  • For mapquest purposes - address is 2375 Benders Dr., Bath, PA  18014.
  • Take Highway 22 East (near Allentown)
  • Exit to Highway 512 North toward Wind Gap
  • Go about 7 or 8 miles North on Highway 512 and turn left onto 946 West
  • Go for about 1/2 mile on 946 West
  • Turn right onto Copella Road (Salem United Church of Christ - white church)
  • Continue onto Copella Road for about 2 miles
  • Cross over E. Scenic Dr.
  • Go another 1/4 mile and turn right onto Benders Dr.
  • Go for another 1/4 mile and Evergreen Lake is on the right.  Do not park on the road.  Your car will be towed.  Please park in field on left across from the Lake.

  • PRIVATE PARK - NO PETS ALLOWED.
  • 1:00pm-4:00pm - Early packet pickup at Evergreen 2375 Benders Drive, Bath, PA  18014. 
  • 3:00pm - First Timers Meeting.  "Open to all registered participants."  This is an opportunity to review logistics of the race with a Piranha Sports staff member.  It will involve reviewing packets, chip timing, transition area, rules, and tips. 
  • BRING YOUR BIKE AND HELMET for optional inspection at early packet pickup.

  • 5:30am - 7:30am - LAST MINUTE BIKE AND HELMET optional inspections. 
  • 6:45am - Late registration will close at this time.
  • 5:30am - 7:15am - Transition area opened.  Late packet pickup.  Body marking.
  • 7:15am - Mandatory pre-race meeting.
  • 7:20am - National Anthem.
  • Waves below are based on last year's and is subject to change.
  • 7:30am - Sprint Course Triathlon Starts.
  • 7:30am - Swim (1 loop) - 1st wave for Sprint Tri.  All Males & Clydesdales.  Blue Caps.
  • 7:35am - Swim - 2nd wave start for Sprint.  All Females, Athenas, & Relays.  Yellow Caps.
  • 8:00am - Swim (2 loops) - 3rd wave.  Half Lite Starts.  All Half Lite Participants.  Green Caps. 
  • 9:45am - Official/Penalty Report for Sprint Tri Posted.
  • 10:00am  - Post race party/awards for Sprint Course Tri.  Awards will not be mailed. 
  • 12:30pm - Official/Penalty Report for Half Lite Tri Posted.
  • 12:45pm - Post race party/awards for Half Lite Tri.  Awards will not be mailed. 
  • 12:45pm - Transition area closed.

Race director/management may alter any part or distance of the event as dictated by event day conditions, such as weather.

Refund Policy
absolutely NO refunds will be made for any reason.  REFERRED TO AS “ENTRY FEES” ABOVE AND INCLUDES ENTRY FEES, PARTICIPANT SHIRTS, UPGRADED PRODUCTS, ANY OTHER AMENITIES, INSURANCE, AND ONLINE ADMINISTRATIVE FEES.  MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE ANY ITEMS as leftovers are distributed on day of race.  WE DO NOT SHIP.  ENTRY FEES CANNOT BE  TRANSFERRED TO OTHER PERSONS OR APPLIED TOWARD future PIRANHA SPORTS EVENTS.  Selling your race entry slot is strictly prohibited by piranha sports. If you do sell your race slot, you will be disqualified from the race and you, as well as the entrant who purchased your slot, will be unable to race in another Piranha Sports event for a minimum of 2 years. Piranha Sports reserves the right to reject any entry if a valid photo ID is not presented at race packet pick-up.  There is NO rain date for the event.  In cases of inclement weather, natural disaster, acts of God, acts of war or other unforeseen extraordinary circumstances, management reserves the right to cancel the event and/or modify the race course for safety concerns. Under such circumstances, there will be absolutely no refunds or transfer of entries to future Piranha Sports events. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as participate shirts, upgrade products, insurance, and online administrative fees.  All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all.  Management reserves the right to reject or accept a race entry for any reason.  By signing up for this race, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms listed on this page.

Spectator Information
NO PETS ALLOWED.  THIS IS A PRIVATE PARK.

Parking 
Parking available across street from Evergreen Lake.  Please park in appropriate location.

Athlete Support
Bring your cow bells, noise makers, posters, banners, and other items to cheer on your favorite athlete. Please keep in mind that spectators are not allowed to provide any outside assistance to the athletes. Outside assistance can result in penalties and possible disqualification. Outside assistance can include but is not limited to: transition area assistance, running or riding along with the athlete (pacing), handing off water bottles, etc. The Piranha Sports staff and volunteers will provide assistance as needed and allowed. As well, there will be no time during the event when spectators will be allowed in the secure transition area. If your athlete forgot an item for the transition area, please ask a Piranha Sports Staff member or volunteer to assist you in getting that item to the athlete.

Spectator Control
The Piranha Sports Staff and volunteers have your athlete’s safety and security as their primary responsibility. Therefore, there may be times during the course of the event that we will need to provide directions to spectators if we feel that the athletes do not have a clear and unobstructed path. Please pay close attention to these directions/instructions so that we are able to maintain the safety of every athlete.

Kids and Dogs
No pets allowed at this park.  The Piranha Sports Staff loves having kids at the events. The kids are our future. If you do bring your children, please keep a close eye on them. Do not allow them to venture onto any of the roadways particularly near the mount/dismount area. As well, if your children bring bikes, please ensure that they are wearing helmets at all times.
