**Note from Friends of the Riverfront Concerning Date Change**
This email was sent from Friends of the Riverfront on 2/11/14 for all athletes registered as of 2/11/14:

Thank you for registering for the 2014 Pittsburgh Triathlon & Adventure Race benefiting Friends of the Riverfront. We are reaching out to announce a revised schedule. The event has shifted one week to Friday, August 1st through Sunday, August 3rd. The decision to shift the date is a result of an unexpected concert recently booked at PNC Park. Athlete experience is our paramount consideration, holding the event on the same weekend is not logistically feasible after carefully considering the volume of people, parking, hotel space, use of the Trail and HOV Lane.

We understand the revised dates may not fit your schedule and would like to offer to defer your registration to the 2015 event. Please email friends@friendsoftheriverfront.org to contact Friends of the Riverfront by Friday, February 28th, 2014 if you would like to defer or if you have additional concerns. Athletes who are able to make the transition, there is no additional action needed and we look forward to seeing you on race day.

Again, we are pleased you have chosen to race with us and hope the revised dates are acceptable to your schedule. Proceeds from this Pittsburgh Triathlon & Adventure Race support Friends of the Riverfront to aid in the creation of new portions of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Take a moment to visit the Trail Status page and learn more about the projects your contribution makes possible by participating in the Pittsburgh Triathlon & Adventure Race.
