As we prepare for this event, online registration is now closed.  However, you may register in person at the race site at Mango's - Garfield Pkwy & Bethany Boardwalk.  On Monday, December 31st from 11am to 4pm.

Limited registration on race morning, Tuesday, January 1st between 8-9am. 

You are strongly encouraged to register on New Year's EVE Day.

RACE POLICY & INFORMATION
  • Rain or shine event.
  • Walkers permitted in 5K only.
  • Dogs and Owners permitted in 5K only.
  • Dogs must be leashed at all times.  No recoil type leashes permitted in the 5K Race.
  • Dogs and Owners, Walkers and Strollers must start at the back of the 5K field.
  • Please have "doggy doo doo" bags with you on the run.  All messes must be cleaned up.
  • No dogs allowed in Mango's for packet pickup or post race party.
  • 10K Runners must be able to maintain at least a 12 min/mile pace for the first two miles of the race.
  • Event Tech Shirts and Goodie Bags are guaranteed only to those who pre-register prior to Dec. 26.

  • 8-9am: Race Day Packet Pick-up
  • 8-9am: Race Day Registration
  • 9:15am: Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting
  • 9:30am: Hair of the Dog 10K Start – Garfield Pkwy & Atlantic Ave
  • 9:50am: Hair of the Dog 5K Start – Garfield Pkwy & Atlantic Ave
  • 10am – 12pm: Post Race party at Mango’s, Garfield Pkwy & Bethany Boardwalk
  • 11:30am: Awards Presentation – Awards must be picked up at the presentation. We do not ship awards.

Additional Options - ESKIMO PLUNGE!!
Select this option for only $20 more (discounted from $25) under Additional Options when registerin online:  Cool off with the Leo Brady Eskimo Swim at Noon! Do not check this box if you already signed up for the Eskimo Plunge via regular registration. This is an additional option for those in the 5K & 10K Run.

Should you miss selecting this under additional options when you register for the Run, you may still sign up for the Plunge, however, you must do so as a "regular registrant" the second time and will be charged the regular amount of $25.  No refunds, credits, or otherwise will be issued in this instance.

If you wish to have a friend Plunge with you, have your friend sign up separately as each registration must be captured individually. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Additional Options - After Party Wristbands for $10 each
For Spectators and Friends: Purchase after party wristbands for $10.00 each. Registered athletes already receive one automatically. Select under Additional Options how many you wish to purchase for your friends.  Choose and add up the total number you wish up to 6 extra tickets! 

For example, if you wish to purchase 1 more ticket, choose "After Party Wristband - 1 for $10". 

If you wish to purchase  5 extra wristbands, choose "After Party Wristbands - 2 for $20" AND "After Party Wristbands - 3 for $30".  This will give you a total of 5 extra wristbands and you will be charge $50 in this example.
