There will also be onsite registration allowed on race morning between 5:15am and 6:30am, however, space may be limited as it is encouraged to register in advance on Friday evening.

This race is a beneficiary for the Dragonfly Heart Camp situated in Kent County, MD.
Consider having your parents, aunts, uncles join you for the adult triathlon at the same venue the day before. Be sure to check under Greater Atlantic Multisport Series. |

| Wetsuit Rule |
All Piranha Sports events will allow wetsuits if the water temperature is 78 degrees or less. Water temperatures are taken on race morning.
In the event the water temperature is 79 degrees or higher, no wetsuits will be allowed. |

THIS IS A PUBLIC PARK AND PROPERTY. PLEASE ADHERE TO PARK'S RULES:
ABSOLUTELY NO SWIMMING IN RIVER PRIOR TO EVENT AS NO LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY
If you violate any of these rules, you will be banned from the race and no refund will be issued.

Please note: This event is opned to kids aged 7 to 14 in which their ages are 7 to 14 as of 12/31/12. This is in accordance of the USAT age up rule. If you turn 15 on or before 12/31/12, you cannot participate in the race.

I-95 south to I-695 east to I-97 south to route 50 east across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to MD 301 north. Exit MD 213 north (Centreville/Chestertown) to Chestertown.

6:30pm - First Timers Meeting. "Open to all registered participants." This is an opportunity to review logistics of the race with a Piranha Sports staff member. It will involve reviewing packets, chip timing, transition area, rules, and tips.

No Refunds, No Tranfers, No Deferrals Under Any Circumstances.
Absolutely NO refunds will be made for any reason. REFERRED TO AS “ENTRY FEES” ABOVE AND INCLUDES ENTRY FEES, PARTICIPANT SHIRTS, UPGRADED PRODUCTS, ANY OTHER AMENITIES, INSURANCE, AND ONLINE ADMINISTRATIVE FEES. MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE ANY ITEMS as leftovers are distributed on day of race. WE DO NOT SHIP. ENTRY FEES CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER PERSONS OR APPLIED TOWARD future PIRANHA SPORTS EVENTS. Selling your race entry slot is strictly prohibited by piranha sports. If you do sell your race slot, you will be disqualified from the race and you, as well as the entrant who purchased your slot, will be unable to race in another Piranha Sports event for a minimum of 2 years. Piranha Sports reserves the right to reject any entry if a valid photo ID is not presented at race packet pick-up. There is NO rain date for the event. In cases of inclement weather, natural disaster, acts of God, acts of war or other unforeseen extraordinary circumstances, management reserves the right to cancel the event and/or modify the race course for safety concerns. Under such circumstances, there will be absolutely no refunds or transfer of entries to future Piranha Sports events. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as participate shirts, upgrade products, insurance, and online administrative fees. All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all. Management reserves the right to reject or accept a race entry for any reason. By signing up for this race, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms listed on this page. |

| Spectator Information |
Wilmer Park and Chestertown, MD ~ offers a large field with ideal spectator areas for watching the swim, transition, bike start and finish as well as run start and finish. Bring the kids and make plans to spend the day in Chestertown such as browsing shops, boating, etc.
Parking
Spectator (as well as athlete) parking is available on the streets of Chestertown except for on S. Cross Street and Route 289 which is part of the bike course. More parking information to be posted.
Athlete Support
Bring your cow bells, noise makers, posters, banners, and other items to cheer on your favorite athlete. Please keep in mind that spectators are not allowed to provide any outside assistance to the athletes. Outside assistance can result in penalties and possible disqualification. Outside assistance can include but is not limited to: transition area assistance, running or riding along with the athlete (pacing), handing off water bottles, etc. The Piranha Sports staff and volunteers will provide assistance as needed and allowed. As well, there will be no time during the event when spectators will be allowed in the secure transition area. If your athlete forgot an item for the transition area, please ask a Piranha Sports Staff member or volunteer to assist you in getting that item to the athlete.
Spectator Control
The Piranha Sports Staff and volunteers have your athlete’s safety and security as their primary responsibility. Therefore, there may be times during the course of the event that we will need to provide directions to spectators if we feel that the athletes do not have a clear and unobstructed path. Please pay close attention to these directions/instructions so that we are able to maintain the safety of every athlete.
Kids and Dogs
The Piranha Sports Staff loves having kids and dogs at the events. The kids are our future and the dogs are just great. If you do bring your children and/or pets, please keep a close eye on them. Do not allow them to venture onto any of the roadways particularly near the mount/dismount area. As well, if your children bring bikes, please ensure that they are wearing helmets at all times.
Post Race Food
Just as a reminder, the food and beverages provided by Piranha Sports are for athletes and volunteers only.
Other Notes
Wilmur Park and Chestertown is a take-in/take-out policy is in effect. Please be sure to take all trash with you and help keep the park and City clean.
