All Run Courses are out and back course. Flat and Fast.
- Start/Finish on Main Street/Delaware Street, respectfully in St. George's.
- Turn left onto C&D Canal.
- Stay to the left of each other throughout run. All runners will run on C&D Canal along water's edge. All runners first run "east" along canal. At turn around, all runners will then run "west" along canal. Small portion of run for marathoners is on road (approximately 2 miles worth).
- 5k Run Turn around at 1.55 miles from start area.
- 10k Run Turn around at 3.1 miles. from start area.
- Half Marathon Run Turn around (6.55 miles) from start area.
- Marathon Runners continue straight along C&D Canal for another 6.55 miles. Marathon Run Turn at 13.1 miles. All marathon runners cross over timing mats at turn around for 13.1 mile split.
- Water, gatorade, hammergel, and being planned approximately every 2 miles on run course.

Sunday, November 2, 2008
- 6:00am - 7:30am - Race packet pickup (get your timing chips and running bib #s). At the St. George's Country Store at the corner of Main Street and Delaware Street in North St. George's. For mapquest purposes - 1 Delaware Street, St. Georges, DE 19733.
- 6:00am - 7:30am - Last minute registration opened provided spots are available. Will be closed off at 1,000 runners.
- 7:45am - Mandatory pre-race meeting.
- 7:50am - National Anthem.
- 8:00am - Marathon Starts. Must wear grey wrist band.
- 8:10am - Half Marathon Starts. Must wear blue wrist band.
- 8:15am - 10K Run Starts. Must wear white wrist band.
- 8:20am - 5K Run Starts. Must wear red wrist band.
- 9:30am - 12 noon - Approximate times for official results and awards ceremony for 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon. Will be announced throughout this time frame which results/awards are being presented. Awards will not be mailed.
- 2:00pm - Marathon cut off time (6 hours).
Race director/management may alter any part or distance of the event as dictated by event day conditions, such as weather.

| absolutely NO refunds will be made for any reason. REFERRED TO AS “ENTRY FEES” ABOVE AND INCLUDES ENTRY FEES, PARTICIPANT SHIRTS, UPGRADED PRODUCTS, ANY OTHER AMENITIES, INSURANCE, AND ONLINE ADMINISTRATIVE FEES. MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE ANY ITEMS as leftovers are distributed on day of race. WE DO NOT SHIP. ENTRY FEES CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER PERSONS OR APPLIED TOWARD future PIRANHA SPORTS EVENTS. Selling your race entry slot is strictly prohibited by piranha sports. If you do sell your race slot, you will be disqualified from the race and you, as well as the entrant who purchased your slot, will be unable to race in another Piranha Sports event for a minimum of 2 years. Piranha Sports reserves the right to reject any entry if a valid photo ID is not presented at race packet pick-up. There is NO rain date for the event. In cases of inclement weather, natural disaster, acts of God, acts of war or other unforeseen extraordinary circumstances, management reserves the right to cancel the event and/or modify the race course for safety concerns. Under such circumstances, there will be absolutely no refunds or transfer of entries to future Piranha Sports events. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee paid including other amenities paid for such as participate shirts, upgrade products, insurance, and online administrative fees. All monies collected are used to develop and produce the event, including all race supplies, staffing, and administration. We pledge to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event for all. Management reserves the right to reject or accept a race entry for any reason. By signing up for this race, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms listed on this page. |

| Rules |
- Honesty and fairness encouraged. Must wear assigned timing chip to receive time and results.
- Wear running bibs on the front.
- Wear colored wrist bands for your event. Red for 5k, White for 10k, Blue for half marathon, Grey for marathon. This helps you and our volunteers to instruct you to your run turn around spots on the course. The wrist band is also your meal ticket at end of race.
- Stay to the left on course throughout entire event. This is an out and back course.
- Return all timing chips when you finish, drop out for any reason, or do not race. There is a $35 replacement charge for lost or unreturned chips.

| Spectator Information |
Line the streets of North St. George's to cheer on your favorite athlete!!! During the race, stop in at the country store in St. George's for a relaxing lunch.
Parking
Spectator (as well as athlete) parking is available in along the C&D Canal at the base of the old Route 13 bridge in North St. George's. There is no parking in North St. George's.
Athlete Support
Bring your cow bells, noise makers, posters, banners, and other items to cheer on your favorite athlete. Please keep in mind that spectators are not allowed to provide any outside assistance to the athletes. Outside assistance can result in penalties and possible disqualification. Outside assistance can include but is not limited to: transition area assistance, running or riding along with the athlete (pacing), handing off water bottles, etc. The Piranha Sports staff and volunteers will provide assistance as needed and allowed. As well, there will be no time during the event when spectators will be allowed in the secure transition area. If your athlete forgot an item for the transition area, please ask a Piranha Sports Staff member or volunteer to assist you in getting that item to the athlete.
Spectator Control
The Piranha Sports Staff and volunteers have your athlete’s safety and security as their primary responsibility. Therefore, there may be times during the course of the event that we will need to provide directions to spectators if we feel that the athletes do not have a clear and unobstructed path. Please pay close attention to these directions/instructions so that we are able to maintain the safety of course and athletes.
Kids and Dogs
The Piranha Sports Staff loves having kids and dogs at the events. The kids are our future and the dogs are just great. If you do bring your children and/or pets, please keep a close eye on them. Do not allow them to venture onto any of the roadways particularly near the mount/dismount area. As well, if your children bring bikes, please ensure that they are wearing helmets at all times.
