Thank you to those who have registered early via online registration.  We have now closed online registration as we prepare for this exciting weekend.

Just under 20 slots left and if you wish to register in person at race site, please do so this Saturday between 6:00am and 6:30am.  Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, so be sure to arrive early!!  No slots will be held, no exceptions.

THIS IS A STATE PARK LAKE AND PROPERTY.  PLEASE ADHERE PARK'S RULES:

ABSOLUTELY NO SWIMMING IN LAKE PRIOR TO EVENT AS NO LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY

If you violate any of these rules, you will be banned from the race and no refund will be issued.

Water temperature in the past has been around 75 degrees.

• "Race Weekend for the Entire Family" - Sign your child up for this race and sign yourself up for the Adult Race the next day (Tri-It Triathlon).
• Please note:  This event is opned to kids aged 7 to 14 in which their ages are 7 to 14 as of 12/31/11.  This is in accordance of the USAT age up rule.  If you turn 15 on or before 12/31/11, you cannot participate in the race.
• Opened to kids only aged 7 to 14
• Fun run follows triathlon for all kids and adults of all ages 2 to 99
• An Escape from School Youth Series Race  

Swim - 100 yards - point to point swim.  Beach start. 

Bike - 2.4 miles.  On controlled road.

Run - 0.4 mile - on grass 

"Fun Run" - same run course immediately following the triathlon

• Go for 1.4 miles and turn left onto Route 71 South (Red Lion Road)
• Go for 1.2 miles and turn right onto Howell School Road
• Go for 1.8 miles and turn left into the main entrance of Lums Pond State Park
• Stay on main road of State Park for 1.5 miles to Beach Area (Area #1)
• Will have to pay entrance fee per vehicle

• 6:00am - 7:00am - BIKE AND HELMET optional inspections.
• 6:00am - 6:45am - Race Day Registrations.  Cut off time is 6:45am prompt.
• 6:00am - 7:00am - Transition area opened.  Located at area #1 on grass.  Packet pickup.  Body marking.
• 7:00am - Mandatory pre-race meeting.
• 7:05am - National Anthem.
• 7:15am - Swim - 1st Wave.  13-14 year olds.  Red Caps. 
• 7:18am - Swim - 2nd Wave.  11-12 year olds.  Blue Caps.
• 7:21am - Swim - 3rd Wave.  9-10 year olds.  Green Caps.   
• 7:24am - Swim - 4th Wave.  7-8 year olds.  Yellow Caps.  
• Fun run follows triathlon for all kids and adults of all ages 2 to 99
• 7:45am - Official results posted. This is your opportunity to review your own results.  Once awards ceremony begins, all results are final.
• 8:00am - Post race party/awards.  Awards will not be mailed.
• 8:00am - Transition area closed.

Race director/management may alter any part or distance of the event as dictated by event day conditions, such as weather.
