&lt;p&gt;This Saturday, the Lums Pond Youth Triathlon will go off at 8:15 with over 100 kids aged 7 to 14 competing. This is the 3rd and final race in the Escape from School Youth Series. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Immediately following the youth race, packet pickup will begin for the adults from 10am to 1pm. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Lums Pond Duathlon is host for the USAT MidAtlantic Regional Championship with over 120 representing!! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the Lums Pond Triathlon, there will be an IronMike Award in honor of Mike Clark. The IronMike Award will be awareded to the top male and female Delawareans. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The XMAS in July raffle winners (free race) was awarded to the following 12 lucky winners: Trevor Lyle, Hunter Winegarner, Steven Zelinger, Robert Buerger, Morgan Stephens, Rob Skelding, Elizabeth Foster, Todd Fare, Leslie Randall, Melanie Marinaccio, Eric Schrader, and John Treml. &lt;p&gt;Last but not least, the Greater Atlantic Multisport Series is being lead by David Luscan with 37 points and Stacy Karwacki with 24 points. The expert coaching staff of Mid-Atlantic Multisport will demonstrate key open water swimming skills and provide you with plenty of time to practice course sighting, turning around buoys, drafting, and mass starts. You will learn strategies for dealing with pre- race jitters, positioning yourself at the start of the race, swimming in a wetsuit and remaining calm in the water. The clinic will be followed by optional 1/4-mile, 1/2-mile and 1-mile race simulations where you will have the opportunity to practice everything you have learned!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All swimming will occur in a clean and protected area of the bay in beautiful Stone Harbor, New Jersey. Participants will enjoy lunch following the clinic at the historic Stone Harbor Yacht Club. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At Lums Pond State Park on Saturday, August 16th - the Lums Pond Youth Triathlon (LPYT) is on for kids aged 7 to 14. This event consists of a 100 ayrd swim, 2.4 mile bike and 0.4 mile run. It is the 3rd and final race in the Escape from School Youth Series. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Lums Pond Triathlon and Duathlon scheduled for Sunday, August 17th, is a favorite among many triathletes as a first time event and annual tradition. There are two races to choose from both with exciting opportunities!!! &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Lums Pond &lt;strong&gt;Duathlon is a Mid-Atlantic Regional Short Distance Championship &lt;/strong&gt;which consists of a 2 mile run, 19.5 mile bike, and 3 mile run. This course is fast, flat, and fun. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Lums Pond Triathlon consists of a 0.5 mile swim, 19.5 mile bike, and 3 mile run. Same fast, flat, and fun course. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For Delawareans, we are awarding the top male and female triathlete with the Iron Mike Award, in honor of Mike Clark. &lt;/strong&gt;Mike Clark (aka &amp;quot;IronMike&amp;quot;) was dedicated throughout his life to community service. Mike's commitment started as a Big Brother, and he continued to work with children as director and grant advisor for the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware. The consummate triathlete and USA Triathlon &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;For a chance to win one of 12 comp entries&lt;/strong&gt; (12 days of Christmas in July) to the LPTD as part of our Christmas in July Special starting this July 25th, we will be drawing on the following dates (work days) 1 lucky winner each day. &lt;p&gt;Bring your family, spouse, and friends for this exciting choice of two great distances in a great location. It makes for a great picnic area at the beautiful foothills of the Blue Mountains (aka Poconos) situated just north of Allentown, PA. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This Half Lite 50&amp;trade; which is the perfect distance between an Olympic and Half Iron Distance, consists of a 1300 Meter Swim, 41 Mile Bike, and 7.6 mile Run. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The traditional Sprint distance maintains the same course as in the past (except for slight modification of the swim course). The distances are 650 meter swim, 15 mile bike, and 3 mile run. This sprint is one of the favorites for those looking to do a beginning of August race. &lt;/p&gt;
