Lums Pond Triathlon/Duathlon Festival this Weekend

For those of you racing this weekend, we welcome you to the Lums Pond Triathlon/Duathlon festival.

This Saturday, the Lums Pond Youth Triathlon will go off at 8:15 with over 100 kids aged 7 to 14 competing. This is the 3rd and final race in the Escape from School Youth Series.

Immediately following the youth race, packet pickup will begin for the adults from 10am to 1pm.

The Lums Pond Duathlon is host for the USAT MidAtlantic Regional Championship with over 120 representing!!

In the Lums Pond Triathlon, there will be an IronMike Award in honor of Mike Clark. The IronMike Award will be awareded to the top male and female Delawareans.

The XMAS in July raffle winners (free race) was awarded to the following 12 lucky winners: Trevor Lyle, Hunter Winegarner, Steven Zelinger, Robert Buerger, Morgan Stephens, Rob Skelding, Elizabeth Foster, Todd Fare, Leslie Randall, Melanie Marinaccio, Eric Schrader, and John Treml. Checks for the entry fees have been sent this week.

Last but not least, the Greater Atlantic Multisport Series is being lead by David Luscan with 37 points and Stacy Karwacki with 24 points. In the Greater Atlantic Club Challenge, Baltimore Area Triathlon Club leads the way with 122 points, closely followed in second by T3 with 120 points.
