This email is sent to all 2012 Pittsburgh Event Racers, Volunteers, as well as Piranha Sports racers. The 15th Annual GNC Pittsburgh Triathlon and Adventure Race as presented by Allegheny Sports Medicine is almost full with 1.400 racers.

The Athlete Guide is now available by clicking here.

Do not forget to print out the free parking pass on page 1 of the Athlete Guide. You will need this for parking during expo hours, otherwise, you will have to pay the parking attendant.

Also be aware that from Friday at 9pm to Monday at 5am, the Squirren Hill Tunnel (Interstate 376 West) westbound (inbound) will be closed. The eastbound side will remain open. PLease follow posted detours or plan an alternative route accordingly. The closest GPS address to the race site is 100 N. Shore Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

If you missed signing up online, you may do so at the race site in person this Friday between 5pm and 8pm (For either the Sprint Triathlon, Adventure Race, or International Triathlon) or on Saturday between 10am and 2pm (For International Tri only).

Packet pickup is also opened to all racers (Sprint Tri, Adventure Race, International Tri) this Friday at race site (Great Lawn near Jerome Bettis Grill on North Shore Drive, Pittsburgh) between 5pm and 8pm. Likewise, on Saturday, between 10am and 2pm, packet pickup is available for all International Distance Triathletes).

Any status changes will be handled at the race site, preferably on Friday so as to allow ourselves adequate time to prepare all data for timing purposes.

Volunteers - please show up at the packet pickup area as indicated when you signed up online. The link to review the entry list for volunteers along with your tasks (near the bottom of the screen) is http://www.piranha-sports.com/EntryList.aspx?RaceID=570. We value your help and thank you in advance. Detailed assignments will be distributed at this time (4:30am at race site each morning on Saturday and Sunday).
