Only a few days left in the 2011 season which is also the final Greater Atlantic Multisport Series and Club Challenge Championship.  The weather this weekend is expected to be beautiful in Lewes with the temperatures around 75 degrees and mostly sunny.  The water temperature has typically been right around 70 degrees and wetsuits are allowed and optional.

We have also just gotten permission to host the Swim Warm-Up on Saturday at 2:30pm after our first timer's meeting.  If you are interested in getting your feet wet, become a little familaiar wiht the water, and obtain professional advice from Triton Water Rescue and Bricks Multisport Coaching, pay $10 cash at packet pickup/race site.

Scheduled for Sunday, October 9th, the Cape Henlopen Triahtlon and Duathlon is one of the favorite ocean swim triathlons around in the beautiful setting of Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, DE.  With only 50 more slots left, this race is the wrap up for the Greater Atlantic Multisport Series and Greater Atlantic Club Challenge.

Team Bricks MultiSport Club winner of $2,500 in the 2010 Greater Atlantic Club Challenge! Piranha Sports has over 50 clubs participating in the Club Challenge each year. Team Bricks has won the last 3 years. Will your club be the one to break their winning streak in 2011?

 

In the Greater Atlantic Club Challenge, Team Bricks leads the way with 440 points followed closely behind by DE Swim and Fitness TRI-Dawgs with 356 points.  The top 5 slots all win cash this year.

In the individual standings, John Dawson leads the men with 36 points and Leslie Randall leads the women with 46 points.

Piranha Sports' Greater Atlantic Multisport Series Event at the Early Bird pricing before 11/15/11.  With the Early Bird Pricing, you can race in a sprint distance triathlon or duathlon for as low as $65 and a half for as low as $125.  These are the lowest prices anywhere!!  

 

In addition to the Early Bird Pricing you can race in a sprint distance triathlon or duathlon for FREE by signing up for 5 Greater Atlantic MUltisport Series events.  The fifth event is free!  Sign up for 10 events and you get two sprint distance events free.  

 

This offer is limited so sign up today.  After you sign up and pay for 5 or 10 events, Piranha Sports will issue either a check or credit card by the end of the calendar year in the amount of $65 for 5 races or $130 for 10 races for those who take advantage of this great offer.  What it really amounts to for those who take the plunge to race 5 or 10 races is an average of $52.50 per sprint!!

 

All 2012 Events are now open for registration at www.piranha-sports.com with the exception for the Pittsburgh Triathlon and Adventure Race which is tentatively scheduled for July 28 and 29, 2012 (reserve the date).
